About Us

What we are

Cluster Innovation Center is the flagship college of the University of Delhi. It was established in the year 2011. There are 2 UG courses that are taught here, namely- BA Hons in Humanities and Social Sciences and B.Tech in Innovation with Mathematics and IT. There is also a PG course namely- Masters in Mathematical Education. Former coordinator of BA Hons in Humanities and Social Sciences course and recipient of Aruna Asaf Ali Chair, Dr. Sukrita Paul Kumar is the founder and mentor of this project. This project has been introduced in the curriculum since its inception in 2014. We have covered aspects like architecture, folklore, monuments, cultural values etc. The project was not limited to one city. The research went through different cities where the revolt broke out and the different aspects of those cities were brought into limelight by the following members hailing from different streams into one arena:

Meet the Team

Abinav Mandal

A sports person, an explorer and a dancer, these are some of the traits that define Abinav. He is a big-time foodie and loves to travel a lot. He aims to join the Armed forces. Currently pursuing Journalism with Psychology and Economics. He is the man behind the camera.

Chirag Sinha

A book lover and and an enthuastic writer, he is currently pursuing Journalism and Mass Communication as his major and Political Science in CIC. He loves to travel and explore the world and collecting philatelic stamps is his hobby. All content writing and editing is done by him.

Nitesh

His streams varied every semester. He started with computer science, moved to economics and then switched to travel and tourism. He is the man behind designing all the heritage walk routes. Apart from this he takes care of all the financial aspects of the project.

Rajnish Kumar

He is totally focused on History and that is his main stream. His major work is to collecting material for research and maintaining the Public Relations required for the project work.

Krishan

He studied Computer Science with Maths, followed by History and then Travel and Tourism. He is an enthusiastic designer, a photographer and more. He has been working on this project from his 3rd semester starting with role of Urdu poetry in revolt of 1857 and Indian history.
